Last month it was showing 44-45 miles - about right for the kind of tires I have on it. Lately it's reporting 38-39 miles. 2014 Chevrolet Volt, Black/Black. Reply.The problem was a 'sticky solenoid' related to the transmission. I forget the specifics of the error, but it was minor according to the tech & was fixed within 1 business day under the Voltec warranty. Add me to the list of cars that lost about 1kwh of capacity after the recall. It's been 2 months, and the most I get out of the battery is about 9.5kwh. I was getting a consistent 10.3 to 10.4 prior to the recall. I'm about 85% EV with about 58,000 miles on my 2014.
