DF1 and DF2 are "almost full" statuses which indicate that the LR will cycle once more, or twice more (respectively). The LR3 doesn't really have a smart way to really sense that though, so I find these statuses a bit pointless. If the liner is up too high, it can block the DFI, making the unit think the drawer is full. If it continues after checking the liner, the DFI lenses might be dirty. I have a white unit.
