After looking at it today I wouldn't be worried at all about it coming out under use as just trying to get it out by force was hard enough. Don’t take the chance of interference inside. It’s an easy process. As long as you leave the stock valve spring you shouldn’t blow it up. The valve will float first. It starts up for about a second, then stalls. It does almost the exact same thing every time. Purchased a new carb and coil, still does the same thing….Use an impact and it'll go right in on both the governor arm hole and the pressed in shaft hole (no need for a tap) you can knock the shaft out with a punch going in towards the block. You don't need to remove the gear. It all comes out as one. Use a 7/16×20 or 7/16×14 tap for the oil sensor hole.
