IIRC that would make it a model 37. I have recently inherited a S&W Model 15-3 due to the death of a relative. Can anyone help decode the serial number? 6K232XX. Gun is in great shape, but will need new grips. I'd like to replace them with something original....anyone have a good source? Thanks in advance for the help!
