I’ve learned in DS 2 a lot of strength weapons require a lot of stamina per hit, but they hit so hard as the trade off, however I find they don’t have great damage late game, as most of the time you can only get a hit or two before you need to roll out of some big damage ...And yet theres 10+ 2 handed STR boss weapons already and still they made the bow scale with STR goddamnit. If only there was a katana boss weapon, or anything at all with S dex rating. They already gave infusions to mages so they have the best of all worlds, they hit through walls with their magic and still oneshot you with a infused weapon...IMO, DS2 pvp is all about dex builds. They have speed and power. theres not much else you need. Let's not get too extreme, here. Heavy weapons do have the bonus of much larger stamina reduction on block, (usually) larger damage per hit, and have a large array of moves that cause some degree of knockback.…
