Costs for unlocking GE5 are 4 times more than level 4 while every other level was only 2 times as much as the previous.If it really takes 2000/2000 boosts to do level 5 in Jupiter and the FT gives me 100 total boosts and the PT gives me 53, I only need 35 more powerful buildings to be able to complete level 5. Lets say 20 will do it. That's 20 events. Sounds like maybe a year and a half to me. That is if each event really gives a building with that high of boosts.

First came 5 encounters in Modern era with 289/676 defense bonuses from playing PvP over a year (I am well above average there). I used troops to win all 5 without too much loss of troops so far. My little Iron Age diamond mine had a harder time. You would need to be at least a leader to unlock GE levels. In my image above the person on top is founder and has full rights.
